If you would like to have a chat before you come in so we can make sure you’re comfortable as possible during your visit, or to check any adjustments we can make, please just text 07712249669 and we can arrange a phone call.
Please fill out the consultation form with as much detail as possible – the forms are sent out via email, if you do not have access to email we can fill the form out when you come in for your appointment. We also have braille consultation forms available that can be posted to you before your appointment. We also have a hearing loop system in the shop, if you require one for your visit let us know.
Our whole team are used to working with lots of different access requirements. We are happy to assist you get on and off the bed/dressed/undressed, we will make sure we communicate with you throughout your visit to make sure you are comfortable and happy the whole time. If you would rather bring a friend/carer/chaperone to assist you throughout your visit just let us know.
Masks
If you would prefer your therapist to wear a mask during your treatment, please just let us know, we are happy too.
Service dogs
We welcome service dogs in the shop, please just let us know so we can provide water and a blanket. The treatment rooms do get warm so we cannot offer any heat treatments (hot stones/hot compress) if you have a service dog in the room.
Carer/chaperone/friend
If you would like to bring someone with you to your appointment for any form of support, please feel free. They can be either in the treatment room or in our waiting area while you receive your treatment. Just let us know in advance so we can make sure we have space for them to sit. (They are welcome to make use of our free wifi/ our books to read whilst they wait!)
Parking
There is parking directly outside of the shop, but it can get busy depending on the time of day.
on the other side of the road is single yellow lines, so if you are a blue badge holder you can park there for up to three hours. Once parked the closest drop-down curb is by NGB accountants on the corner 70 yds from Sammy Anne’s.
Steps
Entering the shop and the first two treatment rooms are step free, the toilet is located down 3 steps – we do have a handrail on one side & handle on the other.
Toilet
We have a small toilet there is a folding up handrail on one side and a grab rail on the other.
Massage tables
Our beds are static (handmade as we wanted wide/strong beds). They can hold up to 25 stone (158kg). We have multiple support pillows to make sure you are comfortable throughout your treatment and our beds can also be raised into a sitting up position.
For getting on and off the beds, we have 2 different kinds of steps – a small step, or small step ladders. We can also assist you.
We can also massage you in a chair if you are more comfortable doing so.
Floors
Hardwearing, anti-slip flooring. We have mats at the front entrance for wiping feet.
Lighting
The lighting throughout the shop is bright, and in the treatment rooms we have dimmer lights that can be bright or dimmed, just let us know what level they need to be at when you visit.
Sounds/noise
We have relaxing music playing throughout the shop and it is a mainly quiet atmosphere. The music can be adjusted in the treatment room to suit you. We have a hearing loop system in the shop.
Seating
We have one seat in each treatment room (we can fit two in if needed) and we have seating at the front entrance (2 seats) and outside of the toilet (3 seats)

We are saving funds for a chair to bed transfer assistant chair – to make it easier to get on and off the massage tables for clients.
